National Day of Action Against Bullying and Violence

Next week, in addition to the National Day Against Bullying on March 16, classes across the school will be involved in various activities to help deliver the message that bullying and violence are never OK.   These activities complement our existing anti-bullying program, Friendly Schools Plus, which is incorporated into our curriculum studies throughout the year.  Please take the time to discuss what bullying is and is not with your child, and strategies they can use if they are being bullied.  The following website provides suggestions on how parents and carers can respond when their child reports bullying.
On Monday students will receive:
1.      a 2018 Take a Stand Together wristband, which can be worn throughout next week (March 12 – 16);
2.     a pocket card, which outlines how they can take a stand against bullying; and
