Kallangur State School is located in the suburb of Kallangur, approximately 20km North of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Established in 1930, the school has a long history of providing quality education for all students. The school is a co-educational government sate school and provides education for students from Preparatory to Year Six.
With the motto of We Strive to Attain students are supported to be successful learners, who set and achieve learning goals, aligned to the Australian Curriculum and standards.
Kallangur State School is an Independent Public School and has demonstrated capacity to assume greater responsibility for its own affairs. Through improved school performance data and innovative programs the school will continue to improve student performance through enacting the school motto Strive to Attain.

Strong financial and management processes.
The establishment of the Kallangur State School Council in 2016 will support greater involvement of the school community and other stakeholders in setting the strategic direction, strengthening local decision making. The School Council will approve and monitor the strategic direction of the school.
