Students and teachers at Kallangur State School have the right to learn and teach in a safe, supportive environment and to be treated with respect by other students, staff and community members. Our four school values are:
  • Respect
  • Caring
  • Responsibility
  • Effort.

Behaviour expectations

All members of the school community are expected to show courtesy and consideration to one another, and to take responsibility for their actions. It is expected that at Kallangur State School the students will:

  • Treat all other students, staff and parents with respect.
  • Wear the full school uniform daily showing respect for self and school.
  • Participate actively in the school’s education program.
  • Behave in a manner that respects the rights of others, including the right to learn.
  • Support school staff in maintaining a safe and respectful learning environment for all students.
  • Not use any electronic devices to take photos or images or sound recordings of other community members, students or staff.
  • Take responsibility for their own behaviour and learning.

For more information see our responsible behaviour plan (PDF, 489KB).
