Klub Kallangur outside of school hours care is located on our school grounds. It is an approved childcare facility and fee relief is offered through Centrelink. This centre provides quality care and recreational activities for primary and preparatory aged children in a safe and caring environment.
Klub Kallangur, under the new ratings of 2018, received the rating of meeting NQS in all quality areas and exceeding in quality area 6 Collaborative Partnerships. Klub Kallangur has received a certificate from KU Inclusion for inclusion of children with additional needs.
Kallangur State School P and C Association became the sponsor body for Klub Kallangur in 1995 when they were operating out of a small demountable building catering for 30 children. Today it operates out of a large purpose built building on the Kallangur State School grounds and can now cater for well over 100 children and provides a vital service.
The centre staff are fully qualified, with many staff continuing to enhance their qualifications with further studies so that the best care possible is provided for your child.
Klub Kallangur have developed a varied program to cater for the individual needs of each child. Students are able to attend school-based activities such as choir, sports etc. while at Klub Kallangur.
Open Times
Before school care - 6.00 am – 8.15 am.
After school care - 2.30 pm – 6.30 pm.
Vacation care - 6.00 am – 6.30 pm.
Office Hours
6.00 am - 10.00 am
1.30 pm - 6.30 pm
